Strengthening Cyber Resilience Through Deep Tech Innovation

Chris Jackson is the Venture Manager for Cybersecurity & AI at the Institute For Deep Tech Innovation (DEEP) within ESMT Berlin where he works toward bridging the deep tech gap in European cybersecurity. Before joining DEEP, Chris worked as a cybersecurity strategist supporting the U.S. intelligence and defense industries, CISA, and other civilian agencies across the cyber ecosystem. Part of this work also included working with deep tech labs to bring solutions into commercial and civilian agency use. He also served as a cyber strategy advisor helping stand-up cybersecurity agencies, ministries, SOCs, and cyber centers of excellence as well as conducting assessments and cyber engagements for commercial entities all over the world.

The Institute for Deep Tech Innovation (DEEP) at ESMT Berlin works toward bridging the deep tech gap in the European ecosystem. The DEEP team will share their specific initiatives that help cybersecurity ventures connect with the larger ecosystem to bring cutting-edge technology to commercialization, thus strengthening the overall cyber resilience of the European digital ecosystem.
