CyberDefendHERs, an Allurity initiative, aims to promote education, networking and collaboration among underrepresented groups in cybersecurity. Our community is founded on diversity, mutual respect and empowerment. This Code of Conduct applies to all participants, speakers, and partners at all our online and in-person events.

Expected Behaviour
- Engage authentically and contribute positively to discussions and activities
- Listen actively and value diverse perspectives
- Collaborate openly and resolve conflicts through dialogue
- Respect boundaries, whether personal, professional or digital
- Report any unacceptable behaviour witnessed or experienced to the organisers promptly
Unacceptable Behaviour
- Discrimination or harassment based on race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, religion, ability, or any other characteristics
- Intimidation, threats or bullying, whether online or in person
- Unwanted sexual, physical or other attention
- Disruption of events, misuse of platforms, or violation of privacy
- Photography or sharing of information without consent
- Exclusionary language or actions that undermine the participation of others
Consequences
Any violations of this Code of Conduct will be addressed immediately. Depending on the severity of the violation, consequences may include a warning, exclusion from the current event, or exclusion from future events.

If you experience or witness behaviour that does not comply with this Code of Conduct, please contact the CyberDefendHERs team at contact@cyberdefendhers.com. All reports will be handled confidentially and fairly.
Scope
This Code of Conduct applies to all CyberDefendHER activities, whether they are online or in person, as well as to related communications. We expect all participants to follow these principles.
